We tried updating the theme and received this fatal error after update see private content.
Hey Obrmarketing,
Are you able to roll back with a server backup to get your site back up & running?
Are you using a child theme with any custom theme files such as a footer.php or header.php? This is the most common reason for errors when updating. Try removing these files and checking again. Any customizations you wish to make should be done in your child theme functions.php
If this doesn’t help, please include an admin login and ftp access in the private content area so we can be of more assistance.
Best regards,
Mike
I was able to restore the site finally. Are you able to assist with updating the theme so this doesn’t happen again
Hi,
I see that you added a password but no user name, please include a full admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area so we can examine.
Best regards,
Mike

Hi,
I see that you have a child theme with a custom footer.php & header.php, this will cause errors in your theme. We do not recommend adding these files to your child theme, it is the most common reason for errors when updating. Please remove these files and any customizations you wish to make should be done in your child theme functions.php
I see you also have a custom includes ▸ helper-main-menu.php in your child theme, this could be another conflict, try also removing it and then update your theme, then compare it to the latest version of the helper-main-menu.php, and adjust to suit.
Best regards,
Mike
