    My site crashed earlier and now I can’t access wp-admin. I can see the site but I can’t get into the dashboard. I get this message:

    Fatal error: Access level to avia_sc_chart::shortcode_insert_button() must be public (as in class aviaShortcodeTemplate) in /var/www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/chart/chart.php on line 49
    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Can you help me with this? We’ve used Enfold on this site for years and this is the first issue we’ve ever had.

    Hey es.design.ma,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Did you modify the template of the chart shortcode in your child theme? Please try to deactivate the modifications temporarily, then upgrade the theme to version 5.4.

    I actually didn’t make any changes to the theme files. My hosting company made a backup of the site and when I went to restore the site from their backup, all these problems happened. I’m hoping replacing the theme files with new ones will fix it.

    Hey Erin,

    I can see that you are currently using Enfold 5.4 and I cannot see any errors on your site.

    Has updating the theme to the latest version fixed the issue?

    I did update the theme files. I must be having a cache issue. I thought I cleared it but I’m still seeing a critical error message on my desktop but the site is loading on my phone. Looks like your tip saved the day :) Thank you!
