Hallo Enfold-Team.

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. We would appreciate if you could communicate in english from now on, since we don’t have any german speaking moderators at the moment.
Best regards,

Thanks for your reply.
Due to some german post here in the forum, I thougt this would be possible also. But of course – we go on in english. :-)
Further information in the private content area. Here´s my first post in english:

Hi Enfold-team.
According to a problem with my footer-content, I would need your assistance.
Normally, my footer section has three colomns, filled with the enfold-facebook-widget (on the left), the instagram-widget (middle) and the Google Maps-widget (on the right).
After a wrong click in the widget menu “costumized widget area” to add a costum widget area, my footer section looked like on the following screenshot.
https://picload.org/view/rpcppidl/enfold_footer_inhalte.jpg.html
Deleting all content in the footer colomns in the widget area didn´t have any effect.
How can I get the footer colomns blank, so I can place my “old” widgets again?
Thanks for any help.

By the way: I found the exact same problem on other sides (not built by me), which perhaps also use enfold(?):

ManuelJuly 15, 2017 at 11:24 pm #821860Hi,
When I look at your screenshot it looks like you have three footer columns and three widgets, but your description says you have no widgets in your footer?
Have you tried removing the custom widget area you were adding when this happened?
Have you tried disabling all of your plugins?
Is there a chance your parent theme was enabled when you normally use a child theme?
Have you added any new code in your functions.php?
At this point we would want to take a look, but you say you only a localhost version.
Unfortunately I can’t recreate your issue on my localhost.Best regards,
MikeDecember 8, 2017 at 11:43 am #886434Hi Mike.
Sorry for the forgotten answer.
The problem was solved by removing the widget areas AND refreshing the cache AND logging out/in from WordPress. So the thread can be closed.
Thanks and greetings
