Three websites continually report errors in thw wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/error_log and wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/classes/error_log. Is there a fix for this?

July 2, 2015 at 7:13 pm #467713Hey!
Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest. You should have version 3.2.3 after doing this.
Next delete the error logs and then view your site again to see if it creates any new errors. Also be sure to deactivate all plugins while testing.
Did you install WordPress manually or use a one click install with your hosting provider?

Thanks for the login, I couldn’t see any error messages at all in the backend?

RikardJuly 14, 2015 at 5:33 pm #473329Right. All the plugins are turned off on that test site. So, shall we proceed with turning them on to troubleshoot?
July 15, 2015 at 3:35 pm #473789Hey!
I’m not sure why you were getting the errors but it looks like they were all about a month old. If your not getting any new errors when visiting your site then you can consider the problem fixed.
Yes, you could activate the plugins to do more troubleshooting and see if you get any new errors.

ElliottJuly 29, 2015 at 4:36 pm #480338The test on the dev site showed no errors. We reinstalled the entire site to the server, and now have this error:
[28-Jul-2015 20:22:58 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘/’ in ………/enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php on line 865
[28-Jul-2015 20:22:58 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘/’ in ………/enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php on line 619What does that mean?
July 31, 2015 at 9:17 am #481169Hi!
It’s not a critical error so you can just ignore it. This will help clear things out a bit. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9869150/illegal-string-offset-warning-php
