Facebook Share = Shortcodes

Hi,
one of my clients told me that Enfold shares shortcodes on Facebook. If one shares a page manually, there is no text, only Layout Builder shortcodes.

What to do?

no, my client uses wpSEO already. Why does Enfold show shortcodes?

we can’t use wpSEO and Yoast SEO together.

Hey David!

I’m not familiar with that plugin, but basically what you need to do is set an Open Graph description tag so Facebook can fetch that instead of the shortcode content. I guess this could help:
