    Hi
    I have installed the Facebook Chat Plugin – Live Chat Plugin for WordPress (Messenger), but it is only shown in english in Enfold.

    The same goes for the embedded Enfold Like and share box. The buttons are only shown as “Like” and “Share”, event though my site is in norwegian.

    Could you please help?

    Hey jotronsdal,

    The login details you posted are not working, please check and verify. If the problems you are having are coming from third party plugins, then please try getting support from the theme developers first of all.

    Sorry, I have corrected the password now. The English language goes for both the Enfold like box and the Messenger chat plugin, so it seems to be some issue with facebook integration

    Hi,

    We tried to manually change the URL of the facebook sdk.js file in the class-framework-widgets.php (line 450) to get the nn_NO locale but it still sets the language to default, which is en_US.

    	$src = '//connect.facebook.net/nn_NO/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.7';

    It is possible that the locale or language code in not supported.

    The language code for norwegian is nb_NO.

    I know it is supported, because it works in norwegian in other templates.

    I tried updating the line you mentioned, bit still the same fallback to english.

    You can’t think of any other place to force to norwegian language?

    This is so strange. I resetted all settings in Enfold to default by accident. Then both Facebook chat and Enfold like box were shown in norwegian.

    I then restored the database to make note of all settings I originally had, to try to reset once again, and only enter logo and colors in the resetted version.

    But when I resetted to default settings the second time, it still shows in english…

    If you click on “Kontakt oss” menu, you see that the “Like” and “Share” buttons are shown in english (not in Norwegian “Lik” and “Del”. The same goes for the Messenger Chat, which also is shown in english.
    I accidently resetted the enfold Theme to defaults, and then both those buttons and the Messenger chat was shown in Norwegian. But when I restored a backup, it is only showing english again. I tried resetting to defaults once more (after making note of all settings), but then it only shows english again.

    The language code for norwegian is nb_NO.

    Yes, we actually tried that previously but the language stays the same. Unfortunately, we are not sure why it worked when you accidentally reset the options. There is no other place to change the SDK language aside from the one we mentioned above. You can also use the avf_fb_widget_lang_code filter but it is the same as editing the URL manually.

    Hi again

    I reinstalled the Facebook Chat-plugin today, and after that, both the FB chat plugin and Enfold Like and Share widget is shown in norwegian. Very strange :-)
