It seems the Facebook Like box widget only shows when I’m actually logged into facebook in the browser. When I am not logged into facebook in the browser, the only thing that shows where the facebook like box should be is a thin white space.
Is this normal?

If the Like box won’t display content to logged-out users, it’s almost certainly because there’s a demographic restriction on your page. The API (and social plugins) will only return information about such pages to users who meet the restrictions.
It’s most likely that you’ve not yet published the page, have marked the page as being for users >18, for users in a certain country, or have marked the page as being ‘Alcohol related’ (which limits it to users of legal drinking age in their country)
To solve this issue Just go to edit page and see the left side option “Manage Permission” In that tab set “Age Restrictions:” Anyone 13+. You must also remove any country restrictions. Save it. Most probably now it works.

BasilisAh I learned something new. It’s not my fb page though. It’s for a client, so I’ll ask them about this.
OK I’m back from our US Thanksgiving holiday now. And it seems the issue with the facebook like box not showing is not because of an age restriction, because even when I (and another person of age) is logged into facebook, the widget does not come up in the sidebar.
I even tried another fb like box plugin and it is not showing up either.
I am trying to add a like box using the Facebook script at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin
But I need to enter the <script>. Facebook suggests just after the opening <body> tag. I’ve seen many themes that have a place to enter this type of code in the the theme options, but I don’t see that in Enfold.
So:
A. Where do I enter this <script> and
B . Can you figure out why the normal way to add a facebook like box isn’t working for me.Thanks,

Were you logged in to Facebook while you went to my site? If so, try logging out of Facebook, clearing your cache and refreshing the page on my site.

Make sure that the facebook page itself doesn’t have any restrictions (country, age etc).
