In my footer section of my site I have added a one column widget and then I have placed a text box where I have custom coded avia layout elements. This work very well on 99% of my site. Maybe because they are all pages…
Working Footer = http://dankinchen.com/demo/about/
But on some of my pages, like a blog page (which I did not have on), or a page with a sidebar (do not have any on), the footer code gets BR tags added between snippets of code.

Would you check this out for me?
August 22, 2014 at 8:26 am #307642Hi Dan!
Thank you for using Enfold.
I checked the website but it’s broken. Obviously the scripts and stylesheets are not being loaded. Please try to disable the plugins then test it again.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 22, 2014 at 5:16 pm #307972The site was moved to the client’s server. Here are the 2 updated urls.

August 23, 2014 at 8:22 am #308190Hey!
Thank you for the info.
How did you transfer the website? We suggest that you transfer the website using this plugin in order to migrate the theme successfully and leave the database intact: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
Refer to this link for more info on how to properly migrate your enfold website from production to development vice versa:

IsmaelAugust 23, 2014 at 3:52 pm #308245my problem was before the migration and still remains. It has nothing to do with the move. On the moving the site topic, I didn’t even bother to look for script that would do it for me as I naturally exported the db structure and data in mysql workbench and imported it into my new database. Further I downloaded the entire site via ftp and then uploaded it to the new site. Updated config files and wp settings in control panel. Sounds like I may have some issues doing it this way, so I will query the database and look for some url inconsistencies with the old Vs the new url paths.
Back to my BR issue please, can you assist?
August 25, 2014 at 5:57 am #308604Hey!
Looks like you created the footer widgets manually using html codes and shortcodes. This may cause some layout issues. Please try to create the footer using the Footer Column widget areas or you can manually remove the br tags.
Cheers!
IsmaelAugust 25, 2014 at 6:16 am #308616I did use a one column widget. My problem only happens on some pages and not all. The br tags do not show up and are not there to be removed. A script or condition is placing them there. Please take a look at the good link vs the bad link to see what I am talking about. Also login and look at my widget to see that I do not have as many br tags in it as it is displaying.
Further I cannot accomplish what I want using 4 cloumns of widgets. As you can see in my design I need rows as well and 4 skinny columns and one fat column. My solution works well just not on specific pages.
August 25, 2014 at 2:58 pm #308841thanks I figured it out. Two templates were treating my new lines in the widget as BR tags.
