Exporting current settings as backup.

Please forgive me if this is simpler, but I I’m very afraid to make a mistake on this.

I’m not sure I completely understand this part in bold.
Upload a theme configuration file here. Note that the configuration file settings will overwrite your current configuration and you can’t restore the current configuration afterwards.
We strongly recommend to export your current settings now to have a fallback.

I sure don’t wanna screw my theme settings up. Can I just click this button to make the backup? And it’s that simple? I’m pretty sure I just clicked the button and make a backup. But I’m just double checking. I’ve got hundreds of pages here to worry about.
