I’m working on improving an Enfold site’s (v 4.7.5) accessibility. One of the areas is keyboard navigation.
Currently, when I tab over the menu, the sub-menu items do not display.
See this page as an example of a menu expanding on tab focus:

How I can I get the sub-menu to display when only using keyboard navigation (tabbing over items)?
Is this possible with adding some custom javascript/jquery to enable this? If so, where in the theme are the menu scripts located so I can review?
Thank you.
I just recently asked the same thing here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/accessibility-issues-with-main-nav-leaves-us-sites-in-danger-of-lawsuits/. I’m a little disappointed with the answer, given that in the US we can get sued for having non-accessible sites. :(
Thanks. I’ll take a look at your post. I may have to opt buying the other menu if the theme won’t support tab navigation.
Hi,
Thank you for the info.
We posted a reply on @dfpg’s thread here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/accessibility-issues-with-main-nav-leaves-us-sites-in-danger-of-lawsuits/#post-1226327
