Hi there!
The site I’m currently redesigning with Enfold used a tag system to organize their products and had URL structures like this:
http://www.cardinalcircuit.com/tag/for-sale+selective-solder/
These pages automatically excluded any post that wasn’t both “For Sale” and, in this case, a Selective Solder.
I’d like to duplicate this using Enfold, but what happens when I choose only Selective Solder as the taxonomy to display both for sale and sold items show up: http://cardinalcircuit.com/dev/selectivesoldering/
When I choose BOTH For Sale and Selective Soldering, EVERY item that’s tagged For Sale shows up, regardless if its a selective soldering machine, or not: http://cardinalcircuit.com/dev/selectivesoldering-2/
Is there a way to mimic the way the current site shows posts in Enfold?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!
Hey thelistener,
I think that is the WordPress default, how did the other site achieve it?
Best regards,
Rikard
I looked into it and they aren’t using any special plugins. They’re simply showing urls like cardinalcircuit.com/tag/for-sale+depaneling/
Here’s access to the site to take a look behind the scenes…
Hi!
maybe something like this could help you to achieve what you need: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simply-exclude/
Otherwise I would ask in general WordPress support forum. Maybe they have any more ideas for you.
Cheers!
Andy
Thanks everyone for your help. I’ve hired a custom programmer to get this done for me. I really appreciate everyone’s input!
