Hi,
I have created several portfolio items that are just links to other pages but if I search for the Portfolio item name, I get a link to the Portfolio page – which is blank.How do I stop this happening?

You can replace default search with SearchWP or Relevanssi to exclude portfolio items from search. Please see following links;
