    Hi,

    I’m experience a very strange issue with excerpts using the blog post ALB element. Some blog posts, have the read more and some do not. Most of the blog posts are quite long so why the excerpt isn’t showing is very strange.

    I’m getting more than 4 blogs posts showing (getting 11 blog posts showing), there are no read more links and the excerpts are way too long. There are Read more links showing up in ONLY two blog posts.

    I would love your help to get this resolve as I have no idea why the blog post element is failing miserably.

    Here are the settings in the blog post element:

    Do you want to display blog posts? Display blog posts
    Which categories should be used for the blog? Blog
    Blog Style? Single Author
    Blog Content length? Excerpt with Read more link
    Preview Image Size? Set preview image size automatically
    Post Number? 4
    Offset Number? Deactivate
    Pagination? Yes
    Conditional display? Always

    No Custom CSS Class

    Hi!

    It looks like you have the blog set to display the full post content but on the “my first child is about to leave the nest” post you have a read more tag set in the post content.

    My setting is excerpt with read more link and I only have it setup to show one blog.

    Hey!

    You forget to set the blog page as “blog” in the theme options. We set it for you and then adjusted the Blog Layout > Blog Style to use the advance layout builder. I think it’s working as expected now: http://petagayenash.com/blog/
