Hello there, When the new version 4.8.1 is updated last week, the entire blog is shown on the first page INSTEAD the excerpt paragraph shown of the specific blog then ‘learn more’ to go to the detail blog post. Could you please help me to set this up in order to have it work properly? Attached is the general layout and blog layout in the enfold theme setting:

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Perhaps I’m looking on the wrong page but it looks like your blog is showing excerpts. Please see screenshot in Private Content area.
I have also included my IP.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 11, 2017 at 4:24 pm #850564Thank you very much, Mike, for trying to help me out with this ticket. However, I kinda figured it out by adding avia layout builder in to the post – which I don’t use in the post and mostly use the visual composer – then it solved the problem. Hopefully the new version in the future will solve this issue, however, I’m good for now. Thank you very much for reaching out.

EmilySeptember 11, 2017 at 4:37 pm #850570I just found out that the title is missing when it goes to the detail post. Please let me know how I go about to fix that. It can be seen at

EmilySeptember 12, 2017 at 5:15 am #850742Hi Emily,
When using the Layout Builder for post then you will have to add everything manually to the post, including the page title, featured image, excerpt etc. You could try switching to the default editor once you are ready to save though, that should bring in all the “default” elements.

RikardSeptember 14, 2017 at 3:51 pm #852112Thanks Rikard for your help. However, I have almost 600 blog posts currently and they all are using Visual Composer. When I converted the theme to 4.8.1, the blog list doesn’t have excerpt shown and ‘learn more’ link so it looks like this:
https://www.homesforheroes.com/blog/page/13/When I just added a layout builder on top on the blog to trigger the exerpt and learn more link, it would solve a problem. Now, when I go to detail page, it doesn’t show the title, feature image, and post info as it shows below link. Please click on the first post, you’ll see:

I CAN’T manually go to each post to add the title/featured image/ post info of 600 posts in total. I need to work with Visual composer somehow to trigger the excerpt shown and ‘learn more’ link in. Please help! Thank you very much.

Even if this can be automated, unfortunately it would require quite some time and custom coding to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
