I’ve been trying for days and can’t seem to figure out the best way to do it with the Portfolio concept in Enfold Theme. I believe there has to be a way, I have yet found a way to make it work nicely.
Does anyone have any examples of work they have done?
For my use case, I’m looking to showcase 4-5 PDFs per category (White Paper, Fact Sheet, Presentation). When a user lands on the Resource Page (Resource Library) they will be able to sort, easily view, click to download or fill a form to download (if gated).
Open to suggestions — maybe there is a better solution to not use Portfolio?
Thank you
Matt

I’m not sure I understand exactly what you are looking for, could you post a link to an example on your page and try to explain a bit further exactly what you are having problems with please? Or maybe an example page from another site which you think handles the layout you are looking to achieve in a good way?

Here is an example:
http://sigma-systems.com/resources/ and http://sigma-systems.com/resources/whitepapers/
Other example:
http://www.healthways.com/resources and http://www.healthways.com/resources/topic/ebookI’d like to do what they are doing, but better. And I feel the Portfolio function can do it (ie filters), I am just having trouble doing it for Documents. When I click on a document, it would show a graphic of the PDF with a title and description and button to click to download at the right. The categories would help filter.
Does that help? Would if help if I created a mock-up/wireframe of what I am envisioning based on the Enfold templates and my details?
February 3, 2018 at 11:26 pm #907303Hi,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

BasilisFebruary 8, 2018 at 12:11 am #909469Thank you, Basilis. I appreciate you taking a moment to look into what I am looking to do. I may look into the custom development to get this done. But in the meantime, I may create a static place in the meantime to get the page executed to at least go live.
Any chance you have a range estimate on the project? Or is my best bet to click that link you shared?
Cheers
Matt
February 8, 2018 at 6:50 am #909595Hi Matt,
I’m not sure if you need to hire a freelancer, but there are no elements in the theme which will achieve the results you’re looking for automatically. You will likely need some custom CSS for instance. Maybe you could start creating your layouts and designs and we can then help you out with styling or any other problem you might have?
Best regards,
Rikard -
