Hi, I’ve got Enfold on my client’s site, we have an area on the home page where I use a widget module to show an Events Calendar event list widget. The event shows up fine, but I need to alter the HTML of that output. In the past I had a template override in my child theme (/tribe-events/widgets/list-widget.php). That template is not being used, but neither is the corresponding one in the actual events-calendar plugin of the same name. In Enfold there is no widget template override as far as I can tell and I have looked at all the templates I can think of to try to find what is outputting the HTML for that widget and I can’t find it. I have looked in enfold config-events-calendar/views and didn’t see one there, and neither of those are responsible for the output I’m seeing. Even in the Events Calendar plugin I can’t find a template that is outputting what I’m seeing. It’s the strangest thing. Please let me know if you have any insights into where the template for that widget is!
Thanks
Mick
Hey mickfollari,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You may need to override the v2 version of the template file, which is located in the wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/widgets/widget-events-list.php file. The following documentation should help.
