    Can we try this theme before we buy? Additionally is the theme compatible with events calendar?

    Due to our agreement with Envato/ThemeForest, we are not able to sell/distribute themes directly. Therefore i am afraid it is not possible to test it. However you can find video tutorials and reviews on Youtube to see how it works :)
    Yes, Enfold is compatible with The Events Calendar.
