Hi There, I have a number of issues with The Events Calendar since the last updates . . . I wonder if you can help.
1. At one point, I was really excited because the “date” shown on my upcoming events posts was the “Event date” not the “Post Date” . . . That has reverted back to the old way and I don’t remember how to fix it. (See homepage in url shared)
2. When I go to the single events page . . . I prefer the old layout. Event on top, other information below . . . I tried to follow the instructions in this post https://kriesi.at/support/topic/tri-be-event-calandar-pro-single-event-view-messy/ However, it still did not create clean results, The links below had messy columns
Please let me know if you have suggestions for going back to how the Events Calendar used to be.
November 7, 2014 at 4:25 pm #347777Hi Michelle!
1. I just tested this on my localhost and only the date that you set in the event settings get displayed. It looks like it’s working correctly on your end also because it says 4 – 6 as the time.
2. Go ahead and do that again and then take a screenshot and highlight what your trying to do and we may be able to offer a CSS fix.
Cheers!

November 11, 2014 at 12:48 am #349139Hi!
I see what you mean now. Your using the post slider there with the events category correct? Your markup looks a bit different from the default, your missing comments, etc etc. Have you done customizations?
I couldn’t check your theme version because your minifying everything but if your not using Enfold 3.0.2 then be sure to update.

November 11, 2014 at 4:42 pm #349480Hi! I am running 3.0.2 for the theme. The only thing I really did was remove the option for Comments. Other than that I don’t recall having done anything crazy custom.
November 12, 2014 at 12:32 am #349778Hey!
It’s working fine on my XAMPP setup so I’m not sure what it could be. Let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins except events calendar.
2. Create a backup and completely delete the theme before downloading / uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
3. After doing the above try creating a new event to see if it happens there as well.Cheers!

November 18, 2014 at 5:08 pm #353068Ok, So the issue lies with W3 Total Cache . . . Any tips on how to set up the plugin so I don’t have the problem? The site runs too slow without it.
November 18, 2014 at 5:33 pm #353101ok, I think it was somewhere in minify (I would still like best tips on speeding up the site)
November 18, 2014 at 11:27 pm #353334Hey!
Try turning off the CSS and JS minify settings.
Best regards,
