Hello,
When I updated theme to current (from 3.8) I was not able to login into backend and was showing the error below:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/airtimet/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php on line 109
I restored the site from before because I couldn’t get back there. Any ideas??
Also not that fronted was functioning fine. Just couldn’t get to backend.

Yes, please update your php version, because it seems to be old and let us know if that will do fix your issues.
Thank you

April 3, 2017 at 10:25 pm #771400Hey!
Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade PHP version. Enfold is compatible up to PHP7.1.x

YigitApril 4, 2017 at 3:43 am #771467I’m looking in my cpanel configurations and I see we are still on 5.2 but the highest PHP level is 7.0. Will Enfold update fine with php 7.0?
April 4, 2017 at 11:59 am #771675Hi,
Yes, Enfold is compatible up to 7.1.x which means it is compatible with 7.0.x as well :)
Best regards,
YigitApril 4, 2017 at 3:10 pm #771810Thanks for your fast replies! Let me as you this — what version considered old and not compatible? I’ve never upgraded my PHP so I’m nervous things will be effected negatively.. Do you recommend updated to the latest? or something in between.
Thanks in advance!
