Here is what I see when ı try to update my theme. I have tried it twice. The result is the same. Any ideas?
Warning: require_once(config-layerslider/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/temadil/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 41

Please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Cheers!
YigitMarch 27, 2018 at 10:17 am #933536Thanks for the prompt reply. I have no idea how I can do it over FTP. So I won’t take the risk I guess. I will appreciate if you can share a link on how I can do it or I can share my credentials if you could help :) thanks in advance.
March 27, 2018 at 10:42 am #933553Hi,
Do not worry your data will be safe in WordPress database and we are not going to touch that :)
You can also do this via your hosting control panel file manager. It is same as deleting a folder on your desktop and re-creating it nothing more to that :)
Just access WordPress directory on your server and go to folder “wp-content/themes” delete “enfold” folder and upload a fresh copy.
Best regards,
VinayMarch 27, 2018 at 10:47 am #933557Ok I will try that one. Btw I don’t worry about the data loss cause I get a backup very often. I just teach online and don’t want to cause inconvenience for my students. Thanks for your help and hope coming updates of Enfold could be carried out as simple as it used to be.

April 3, 2018 at 4:36 am #936284Hi,
The automatic updater fails on some servers but we’re not sure what’s causing it. You can update the theme manually via FTP instead which is quite easy.

IsmaelApril 3, 2018 at 7:40 am #936345So can I share my ftp and wp credentials with you? I don’t trust my expertise and luck :). And I don’t have the latest version of Enfold theme

April 3, 2018 at 7:00 pm #936720Hi,
No, your installation is not updated yet.
But even if we do it now, how you will update next time we have an update available?
Can you please follow the documentationBest regards,
BasilisApril 3, 2018 at 7:14 pm #936727I am going to do it next time on my own. Besides you wanted my credentials to update it and I gave you. I am not asking for a lifetime update anyway. I am just kinda freaked out after two failures. Anyway I just thought you asked my credentials in order to update the theme for only this time. I changed my password and username as you sound like you are not going to help apart from sending me the documentation again. Anyway please just tell me how I can download the latest update. I will figure it out on my own and won’t bug you guys. Thanks for wasting my time.
April 5, 2018 at 1:32 pm #937724Hello there,
I updated my theme but it seems like there is problem with icon lists and counters. I am sending you the urls of the pages. What might be causing this?April 6, 2018 at 1:31 am #937976Hi,
Please flush cache on LiteSpeed Cache plugin.
If that does not help, could you please check cPanel logins once again? They did not work for me.Best regards,
YigitApril 6, 2018 at 7:30 am #938062Thank you Yiğit. Here are my cpanel credentials.
April 6, 2018 at 10:28 am #938162Flushed cache. Looks like it didn’t help.
April 6, 2018 at 4:51 pm #938301Hi,
There were some extra files which should have been deleted during update. I deleted them manually and that helped. Please review your website :)
Best regards,
YigitApril 6, 2018 at 4:58 pm #938303Thanks a million :) I hope next updates will run smoother.
