I am getting the following error when I try and save pages on my site? This I think is a continuation of my ticket #920687 which has been resolved but I believe this is all related.

March 7, 2018 at 7:15 am #922763Hi Ben,
Thanks for the login details. I tried saving your About page but I couldn’t see any error messages, on which page is this happening?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 7, 2018 at 9:13 am #922800Hi Rikard
It is when I save the homepage that I have seen the error.
Best Regards
BenMarch 7, 2018 at 2:16 pm #923016Hi Ben,
Thanks for the feedback, I get the same results on my end. Could you try to activate debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, then copy the shortcode to a new page to see if that helps please?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 7, 2018 at 3:32 pm #923083Hi Rikard
I added that code as per the description you provided to the functions.php file located in html/wp-content/themes/enfold
I cannot see the extra section to allow me to do what you suggest? Can you log back in and see if you can identify the issue?
I am happy to give you FTP details if required.
Regards
BenMarch 8, 2018 at 6:02 am #923559Hi Ben,
Thanks for the feedback. I think we will need FTP details then since I can’t see the editor function on your site, I think your hosting provider turns that off by default. Please post the details in private.
There is an update available for the theme as well, could you try updating to that first to see if that might help?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 8, 2018 at 10:13 am #923697Hi Rikard
I updated the theme but alas no change – I still get the error.
I have posted the FTP details as requested – If you can resolve this it would be much appreciated.
I thought that it might be an issue with any pages that have a masonry gallery on them so I tried making a simple text change on the dining page: https://www.parade-house.co.uk/dining/ I just added an ‘s’ into a block of text and this worked fine and saved ok. I say it worked fine it actually didn’t really – I had to go into the text block, make the change and then save it. when I came out of the text box editor the text had not changed. I had to make this same change a further 3 times before the changes took place so I am guessing that there is a bigger underlying problem site wide here?Hope you can help get this resolved – As I have said previously the level of support with ‘Enfold’ is unparalleled which is why I have purchased it around 5 times myself.
Thanks

I have removed the Masonry Gallery from the front page and replaced it with a standard Gallery which seems to have solved this main problem (not that that answers what the issue is) but it is a workaround until we can identify the issue.March 9, 2018 at 3:52 am #924237Hi,
Thanks for the feedback and for investigating, I get no problem until I add the masonry gallery as well. I’m not sure why that is happening but I’ll ask the rest of the team to have a look as well.

RikardMarch 9, 2018 at 10:32 am #924380Hi again,
Do you know what version of PHP you are running on the site? We recommend having 5.6 or above that. The messages you are seeing are not really errors, only warnings, so it shouldn’t affect any functionality on your site. Did you make sure to turn WordPress debug off? If not then please try to do so, you’ll find instructions here: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG
You could also try to turn off all plugins in case there is a conflict coming from them, though I don’t think it’s likely. I haven’t been able to reproduce the problem on a local installation, so I think it’s due to some configuration on the server your site is hosted on.
Thanks,
RikardMarch 13, 2018 at 6:32 pm #926192Hi Rikard
I have another three issues on the site as follows:
1. I have tried turning off the debud but cannot find the wp-config.php file to add the line of code, could do with this being disabled if possible please? i tried following the instructions but got nowhere.
2. The Menu has changed and I have no idea why? in the drop downs from the About section of the site they used to align beautifully vertically one on top of another, now for some reason, they are all lining up horizontally? All I want to the menu to go back to how it displayed vertically on drop downs.
3. I am still having to change text several times before it will hold the change and allow me to save the page – something is horribly wrong and not I am due to change body text all over the site when i try the SEO changes I am loathed to have to try and make the changes again and again and again before they save and publish. Thanks Again
BenMarch 14, 2018 at 7:48 am #926455Hi Ben,
1. I’ve turned it off for you.
2. I can’t reproduce that error on my end, could you try to clear your browser cache and reload the page please?
3. Where exactly are you having this problem? Please try to be as specific as possible how we can reproduce it and where.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 14, 2018 at 10:22 am #926523Hi Rikard
My apologies – after sending this support request I managed to find the:
1. De-Bug location and I think I sorted it but thank you for confirming that you actioned this also.
2. In relation to the Menu Error, I have to create a new menu and implement that – this then cured the error (if you were to go back in and change the menu from Parade House New Menu to the previous Main Menu) you will see what I mean – I have no idea what caused this.
3. Please try and change the text in any text box and then close the editor – see if the text has changed on any page you like! try a few times and you will see what I mean. I have changed whole paragraphs of text and then come out only to see that everything I have typed has been ignored and the old content is still there.Best Regards
BenMarch 15, 2018 at 6:07 am #927056Hi Ben,
Thanks for the feedback. So 1 and 2 are ok now?
About your third problem, I haven’t seen that before and I think it’s due to a plugin conflict. I tried editing a text box on the page in private and it worked 2/3 times, then the text turned white in the editor and the change I made didn’t take. I edited it again though and it was back to normal after that.
Could you try to disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them? I’m particularly looking at the SiteOrigin plugins.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 15, 2018 at 9:50 am #927169And that is why I love this theme and its support so much!
I think you have cracked it Rikard!!
Have disabled and deleted a fair amount of unwanted plugins that came with a previous theme (I then got brought on to make a new site) and used Enfold – So I guess all the SiteOrigin stuff came with the other theme so have disabled and deleted it.
I am hopeful that this has now resolved the issue – early test seem good.
Once again Rikard you guys are fantastic.
Thanks

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Which page is it happening on?

April 9, 2018 at 7:04 pm #939356Hey!
@jeffoleary WP_DEBUG was set to true – https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG. I set it to false and that helped. Please review your website.Best regards,
