    I am getting
    GET /enfold-child/style.css?ver=4.2 net::ERR_ABORTED
    And it only happens when child theme is active. (I checked every possibility, i deactivated all plugins)

    Hey Michael,

    Can you give us temporary admin access and ftp access? so we can check the files and try to activate the child theme. Just post the details in private section.

    The child theme is active, but the error message keeps coming in the console
    /wp-content/themes/enfold-child/style.css?ver=4.2 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I checked the URL in private but it leads to a 404 page. Are you sure that file exists in that location?

    Yes, there is a style css. The ftp is in the private

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I can see the child theme and the style.css in there, so it should be accessible. The server is responding with a 404 error though, so something is not correct with your setup. Maybe because you have your install in the private_html folder? I would try asking your hosting provider why that file can’t be found.

    In the htacces there is a rewrite…

    RewriteRule ^wp-content/themes/enfold-child/style.css /wp-content/plugins/wp-hide-security-enhancer/router/file-process.php?action=style-clean&file_path=/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/style.css&replacement_path=/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/style.css [L,QSA]

    deleted it and the error is gone
