Site has issues updating to the latest version of Enfold. Our only workaround is to manually update it using FTP.
See error below. The plugins on the site that are related to the error are The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro
We have tried to disable both plugins and it still won’t update.
Please advise on what is needed to fix this. Thanks. An error occurred while updating Enfold: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. tribe-events
March 8, 2018 at 12:17 am #923471Hey,
Could you please try updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
Also, please make sure your PHP version is minimum 5.6Best regards,
YigitMarch 8, 2018 at 12:21 am #923473Server is on PHP 5.6.
Updating the theme using FTP will work and we have been doing this for a while.
What folder location with the theme setup should we look at that might be causing the issue?March 8, 2018 at 12:23 am #923477Hi,
Could you please post FTP logins here privately so we can look into it?
Best regards,

March 8, 2018 at 4:07 am #923530Hey,
This issue usually occurs when permissions are not correct however even after correcting them, it does not work. Could you please contact Modern Tribe support team? I tried updating Events Calendar Pro and that threw the same error. I updated it manually thinking maybe there was an issue and it was fixed but that did not help either.
Cheers!
