    Hello everyone
    I have installed a new page here:

    I have installed and activated the Enfold theme there.
    Then I installed and activated the Enfold Child theme.
    Without any errors

    When I subsequently run the programme
    path below:
    and start the programme, I get a huge error message

    What did I do wrong here?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The site contains an older version of the theme which is no longer compatible with the latest version of WordPress. Please upgrade the theme from 5.2.1 to the latest version, 5.6.8.

    I have now done that so far
    reinstalled wordpress

    installed the current themes

    and still this error appears before the login in the browser?

    I have here path below
    installed wordpress-6.4.1-en_CH again
    This runs without problems
    even before the login.
    As soon as I install Enfold and Enfold.Child the same error message appears in the browser again.

    We have discovered another thread displaying the same issue, but there is no explanation about the cause of the problem, and no solution was provided. This appears to be a WordPress core issue.

    We recommend disabling the debug mode or setting the WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY to false temporarily in order to get rid of the warning.

    Now I just made a backup from another site
    that works fine now
