    hello all,

    I have since the update to wordpress 5.7.2 problems when editing pages.

    I have already read through your forum posts (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/fatal-error-class-avia-gutenberg-php-on-line-529/) but unfortunately do not find a suitable solution. I have disabled plugins, disabled the gutenberg editor.

    What else can I do?

    Hey Iloivar,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Did you install the Classic Editor plugin? Please try to disable it and toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings afterwards. Purge the cache before checking the editor again. You should also select your preferred editor in the Enfold > Theme Options > Select Your Editor settings.

    Hi Ismael

    thanks for the feedback.

    -I have disabled the plugin “Disable Gutenberg”.
    -Under Enfold Child -> Performance I had already disabled merging and compressing js and css files.
    -Under Enfold Child -> Theme Options -> Select your Editor I have selected “Use WP classic Editor”. When I select “use block editor” here, the console runs full of errors and a blank page opens.

    What else can I try?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

    We just noticed that the site contains old versions of the theme, 4.1.2 and 4.5.6. You have to remove the older versions and upload the latest one, version 4.8.3. This should fix the block editor issue.

    Hello Ismael,

    this has solved the problem. Thank you very much for your help :-)
    If someone reads this who also has the problem: the wp-classic editor must be selected in the theme options. The block editor shows (in my case) only a white page.
