Hi
I just got this message from wordpress after a recent update to 5.2. I thought the site was fine but now I see there are many layout errors so I am restoring it to a previous version. All my sites use Enfold so if this is an issue I will not be updating to the recent wordpress 5.2 until I’m sure this won’t break all my sites.
Thanks
NancyHi!
From WordPress 5.2, there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme is to blame for a bug on your site, and notifies you through this automated email.
In this case, WordPress has found a bug in your theme, Enfold.
First of all, visit your website (see private content 1) and see if there are any visible problems. Next, visit the page where the error was found (see private content 2) and see if there are any visible problems.
Contact your host for help investigating this issue further.
If your page appears to be broken and you do not have access to your control panel as usual, WordPress now has a special “restore mode”. This lets you log in securely to the control panel so you can investigate the error further.
(see private content 3)
To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Do not worry. If the error occurs again, after this time, a new email will be sent to you.
If you are asking for help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 5.5
Current theme: Enfold Child Theme (version 1.0)
Current plugin: (version)
PHP version 7.4.9Details of errors – see private content 4

August 19, 2020 at 4:46 am #1238996Hey Munford,
Thanks for the login details. I can’t see anything obvious going wrong with your site though, could you try to explain the problem you are having a bit further please?
Best regards,
RikardAugust 24, 2020 at 12:45 pm #1240342Hi Rikard,
The update broke my site, not sure if you can see where the problem is in the alerts I was sent in the private content?
I restored the site to a previous version so it would work and won’t be updating until I’m sure the new WP works with Enfold.
Are there other users having issues?/Nancy

August 25, 2020 at 6:54 am #1240589Hi Nancy,
Thanks for the update, I’m glad to hear that your site is back working. Maybe you could copy the site to a staging environment and perform the update there, so that we can see the actual problem?
There are users with problems on every update of both WordPress and the theme, but it’s likely not a general problem with either one of them, so that is why we would have to see the actual problem in order to say what is causing it.
Best regards,

That is an email from your security plugin, it’s saying that someone or something has been blocked from logging into the site.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 11, 2020 at 1:13 pm #1245134sorry that was the wrong message I copied!

NancySeptember 12, 2020 at 8:13 am #1245286Hi,
Thanks for that. I logged in and had a look at your site, but I can’t see anything going wrong on either the front or backend. Is something not working as it should? If things are working then you can ignore the email you got, as something probably went wrong temporarily.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 25, 2020 at 11:24 pm #1248521ok thanks. it seems to be ok.
