Recently I made some changes based on recommendations within this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layer-slider-server-error/

Within my cpanel I increased my post_max_size from 8M to 128M and then I get this error,

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/ballist4/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php on line 6

not sure if it’s related. Possibly not because when I changed the setting back to 8M the problem still exists.

I’m at a loss as to what I’m to do now, i’ve had nothing but trouble with the slider lately and i’m not sure if this is related, perhaps I need to buy another theme that doesn’t have so many problems.

Update, I’ve reinstalled the latest version of WP and that hasn’t resolved the issue so it would seem to be an error with the template or settings…

    Hi,

I tried the temporary pass link you gave however it doesn’t let me in and just redirect me to the Under Construction page.

    Best regards,

Hi Nikko, Could you try it again please, I didn’t realise that it had expired but it should work now.
    Thanks

Note: Within my cpanel i see that I’m running php version 5.3, should I update that to 7.2 or would that make no difference?

    Hi Steamed,

Yes, you should be running at least php5.6.6 for the code to work properly. Let us know if the issue persists after you upgrade your php.
