Steps I made:
1) First, I copied the “enfold” folder via FTP into my wp-content/themes folder.
2) After successful upload, I activated “Enfold” in WP Backend
3) From this step on, there wasn’t any page available in the backend! White pages only! Frontend has been changed to Enfold. When I try to login again, I cannot get to any page.
Maybe I should mention, that I use the plugin “all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall” where I changed my login page (i.e. differs from “…/wp-admin”)
I do not have any clue, how to get back to the state before activation enfold.
I did not have any problems with a theme before (theme “Sydney” was activated prior to my failing Enfold trial).
What should I do now??September 22, 2016 at 8:52 pm #690397As a short term measure, I renamed “enfold” folder via FTP an got my WP-backend back. Now, theme “Sydney” is active again.
But the reason I purchased “Enfold” was that I also wanted to use it ;-)
So, what can I do to activate Enfold without having troubles?September 22, 2016 at 9:26 pm #690413System Information:

WP Statistics 10.3 http://wp-statistics.com/September 23, 2016 at 5:27 am #690468Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I would suggest deactivating all plugins before installing the Enfold theme and then activating the theme. A plugin may be conflicting with the theme and is causing the issue.
Thanks for the detailed information but if you still experience issues, could you provide us with FTP access and access to your WordPress dashboard so that we can take a closer look.

JordanSeptember 23, 2016 at 12:02 pm #690633Hi,
I did as you suggested an succeeded in activating the theme, but there are a lot of plugins that cause issues, after I activated them one by one:
Yoast SEO (causing white pages on all backend menu items!) … this widely spread plugin causes a complete malfunction of the backend. Only remedy is to rename plugin folder via FTP to deactivate the plugin.
But the following plugins also cause issues (I have the German version of WP):
SVG Support (sometimes white screen, especially “Design – Anpassen” or page after activing Plugin)
All In One WP Security (sometimes white screen, especially “Design – Anpassen” or page after activing Plugin)
same with:
WP StatisticsIt seems that WP backend runs instable with Enfold. Page “Design – Anpassen” delivers “white screen” most of the times. By using browser feature “previous page” the backend will occur again. But issues with “Design – Anpassen” remain (sometimes when clicking through other menu items, the page “Design – Anpassen” displays even with critical plugins activated. But in most cases it doesn’t).
The following plugins seem to cause no problems:
– Cookie Law Info
– TinyMCE AdvancedConclusion: it is not just one plugin that causes issues with the theme!
Is there a secure way for providing access to FTP and WP dashboard?
Kind regards,
BernhardSeptember 23, 2016 at 12:06 pm #690636Hi,
Please try to increase the allocated memory to 256M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.If that does not help, please post WP and FTP logins in private content field

YigitSeptember 23, 2016 at 1:22 pm #690695Hi Yigit,
thanks for your advice! After memory has been increased to 256MB everything seems to work fine now (with all plugins installed so far).
I hope that measure solved the problem.Thank you and kind regards,
