    After updating the Enfold Theme I am getting a HTTP Error 500 and the following error for one of the many websites with which I am using Enfold. Any suggestions please?

    Fatal Error (E_COMPILE_ERROR): require_once(): Failed opening required ‘includes/admin/register-portfolio.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php71/usr/share/pear’) occurred in wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 574 please make sure that your website is accessible.

    Hey simulthink,

    Sorry for the problems. Could you try to completely delete the theme folder from the server, then upload the new version again to see if that helps please?

    Thanks Rikard. I just need to clarify the steps before proceeding becaus I am not a developer.

    I cannot log into WordPress at all or get to the site at present. So, do you want me to 1) ftp and delete the theme folder then 2) download the latest installable zip folder, 3) Extract the folder and then 4) upload the new Enfolder via ftp to the Themes folder.

    I just need to check because I don’t want to mess this up. And I assume I won’t lose any settings?
