I am having a curl error issue on a managed WordPress hosting account using enfold. memory limit is 256 and godaddy has advised that it is not their issue. I activated the 2019 WordPress theme and the error went away. I activated enfold and the error returns. Please assist.
The errors:
The REST API encountered an error Performance
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.
The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds (http_request_failed)
Your site could not complete a loopback request PerformanceLoopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.
The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds (http_request_failed)hopefully you can help.

Thanks, I tried to check on Site health however I’m getting this error:
Hosting Server Read Timeout HTTP 502 — Unable to Connect to the Origin Server
Please try to disable the plugins and check if this resolves the issue, if it does, enable them one by one to know which one is causing the issue.
Best regards,
NikkoOctober 16, 2020 at 6:36 am #1253151Please try it again. I just went in to run the site health and it worked. Got this error:
Error details: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)
If this is a live site, it is recommended that you figure out why the check failed.can you try again please?
October 16, 2020 at 6:52 am #1253153So I am not sure, but I think I figured this out. I am still not sure if Enfold is the Culprit, but I turned of the Ryte Integration in the Yoast SEO plugin under integrations. The alert went away and site sped up. So I figure yoasts new updates may be bloating the plugin. Anyway…I guess im good for now. Thanks.
If anyone else is having issues with GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting and Curl Errors. Id like to know about it.
