    Hi there,

for our website https://info.hiorg-server.de we are using latest version Enfold (/child) Theme 4.5.5 on WP 5.1.1 with PHP 7.0.33.

Although we have some traffic on the site, we are seeing the following error messages constant 4 times every hour (?!):

    Hey hiorgserver,

Where exactly are you seeing those messages? If on the backend then we need login details in private in order to check it.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

we only see this message in the syslog of the server. The server is configured not to show php errors in stdout. But also when I browse the website, everything is working well. I’m not sure how to trigger this error, but it keeps appearing in the server log several times per day.

    Thanks for your help,
    Christoph

    Hi,

What is the php version of the Server?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    #1092349

    php-fpm 7.0.33-0+deb9u3

    #1092766

    Hi,

Please update to php 7.3+ things should be fixed afterwards.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi Basilis,

thanks for your advice: indeed, the error occurs less often with a more recent PHP Version – but it still appears some times a day:

    WordPress-Version 5.3.2
Aktuelles Theme: Enfold Child (Version 1.0)
    Aktuelles Plugin: (Version )
    PHP-Version 7.4.3

    Fehler-Details

(for better readability and privacy, I shortened the full server path. The target paths in #3 (require) and #4 (load_template) are missing in my log view, too – sorry)

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

The site contains an older version of the theme, so you will have to update it to v4.7.3. The upgrade should help fix this issue. Please don’t forget to toggle the Performance > File Compression settings and purge the cache after adding the code.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    thanks for your response.
Although, we are using the most recent version of both the “Enfold Theme”: 4.7.3 and also “Enfold Child: 1.0”.

The update checker inside the Theme’s (Enfold child) settings says:

    Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.7.3)
    Check Manually
    Your PHP version: 7.4.3
Last successful check was on 2020/03/05 08:22.

And also WordPress’ update section doesn’t report any updates.

The error still occurs some times a day, most of the times when (a bot?) tries to access /wp-login.php

    Hi Felix,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’m getting the following errors by email from WP from time to time. Can’t see any visible negative effect on the site though.

I’m using the latest WP version on PHP 7.3.27 with latest Enfold theme.

E_ERROR, rasta eilutėje 167, faile /home/customer/www/.lt/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/helper-social-media.php. I’ve removed the site URL for privacy purposes.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The av_icon_string function is defined in the enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-template-builder\php\font-manager.class.php and is loaded on WP init, so this issue should not be occurring. Are you using the social media icons in any unique way, maybe adding it in a template directly or something like it?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #1283890

    Hi @Ismael,
I’m only using the default Enfold functionality to add icons to socket and top-nav.

    Thanks,
    Andrius

    Hi,

Could you provide a list of plugins that are currently installed in the site? Maybe one of them is loading the theme partially, which might be causing the issue. Have you tried upgrading to PHP 8.0?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #1284785

I’m running multiple sites on Enfold and all of them are hosted on SiteGround and running the same version of PHP, so I don’t think is a PHP issue as I’ve been having these errors only on 2 of the sites.

I’m including the list of plugins and server env info.

    #1284814

    Hi,

as I’ve been having these errors only on 2 of the sites.

Are there any plugins installed in these sites that do not exist on the others? It is possible that one of those plugins is causing the issue.

Did you enable the scanning option of the WP Cerber security plugin?

    // https://wpcerber.com/wordpress-security-scanner/

Does the error occur when you run the scan manually?

    Best regards,
    Ismael
