I updated our site to 3.8 this morning and it appears to have broken the ui. If I view a page with interactive graphics (scroll in, etc) the images don’t show and the console gives a javascript error:
TypeError: dropdownItems.find(…).addBack is not a function
domain.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/js/avia.js Line 1258
Any help?
Hey jjma!
Can you please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
Cheers!
Yigit
I had the same problem, and Yigit’s solution worked. Is the auto-update something we should be concerned about in the future? Thank you!
Didn’t work on this occassion using ftp. I had to remove the enfold update and put back version 3.7.1 for the site to work again. Issues resolve around javascript in the avia.js file.
Can you suggest an alternative?
Hi @jjma,
I have not heard of a problem like that from any of our other users so I think it has something to do with your particular installation/server environment. We have to inspect the page ourselves in order to find out though, but I’m guessing that would not be possible if you have installed the previous version?

Rikard
I can install a copy on a sub domain via backup buddy and roll the new update over it?
