    Hi,
    I’ve just tried to upload enfold 4.5.1 on 2 WordPress 5.0.3 websites but error 500 occurred on both. My colleague tried to uninstall and then install again the theme but when I activate it, the websites give me error 500. What can I do?

    I’ve already installed Enfold in 5 websites in the same way and everything was ok.

    Hey Sara,

    Do you know which version of PHP you are running on the site? We recommend that you use 7.1 or higher.

    Dear Rikard,

    my php version is 5.4.39-0+deb7u2

    My ITC department told me that they cannot update it but some months ago I’ve uploaded Enfold on another website and everything was good.

    Do you think that the problem is the php version?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info, the problem is very likely the PHP version yes. The minimum recommended version to run WordPress itself on is actually 5.6. Why exactly can’t you update to 7.x?
