    I am getting error pages when logged out of the admin now for ihomefinder links. It’s weird, when going to a property when logged into website
    http://www.themiamiluxuryrealtor.com/homes-for-sale-details/1330-WEST-AV-2004-MIAMI-BEACH-FL-33139/A10277412/39/

    it shows up. when logged out or on phone, it says error.

    #948434

    Hey SAdesignsUnltd,
    You are getting a jQuery error, “TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined”
    have you added a new plugin, custom menu item, or code block lately?
    Please first try to disable your plugins, if this doesn’t help, please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #948441

    thanks Mike, i haven’t. I have been running the same plugins. I even tried disabling wprocket cache and wordfence. Was still getting the same errors. Also, on a previous thread, when clicking theme options or anything under enfold menu the only way to get there is to open in new window, it stays on the same page.

    #948487

    WOW…. I am having the same exact issue and am working with Yigit on it. He spent some time on it already and it’s not proven easy to fix yet.

    The problem surfaced once I upgraded to 4.3… now back at 4.2.x and the problem went away. Are you also running 4.3? Who is your hosting provider? Mine is WP Engine and I’m wondering if it has to do with their server side caching.

    Mike is there a way you can let Yigit know about this thread so he sees this issue is affecting other sites?

    Thanks,
    Rob

    #948491

    Yeah, I’m not using wpengine, I’m on icdsoft but using php 7.2 and tried php 7.1 as well. Started when I updated to 4.3. I am using wprocket as a cache program. It just seems strange that when you log out of admin that it stops working for this specific plugin.

    #948493

    Yes it does. Good news you’re not on WP Engine I think. So it’s not hosting specific. I’m php 7.0. It’s definitely Enfold 2.3… if you can roll back your site, it will work fine again. I disabled all plugins and still the 404 errors persist. I’ll let you know if Yigit is able to figure this out in my open ticket, and I’ll keep tabs on this one in case Mike can figure it out….. this is a biggie.

    #948545

    confirmed, I uploaded 4.2.6 and everything worked again. There is something in the new update for 4.3 that is messing with ihomefinder.

    #948629

    Hi,

    @SAdesignsUnltd
    I see you rolled back to v4.2.6, does your webhost offer staging sites? If we could get your site copied to a staging site with v4.3 installed, I’d like to try to isolate the error. I see you still have v4.3 on the site but I don’t want your site to be down while we test.

    I do note the with v4.2.6 you are getting JetPack “WrappedWebSocket” errors which was reported to:

    some of the posts are showing page not found after publishing the article.

    source
    Can we disable JetPack & perhaps MonsterInsights?

    I also see the ihomefinder is throwing 18 errors on your sample post link for “non-unique id” for the two contact forms, they should use different ID’s for the two forms, but I don’t think this is causing your error.

    Please see if your host offers staging sites, copies of your current site, typically it’s a option in your cPanel

    Thanks Mike. Go ahead if you want to switch to 4.3 and disable jetpack and monster insights. I can always activate them again later if needed. Not even sure if I need jetpack turned on. I will look into the staging site or I can just create a new one in a sub directory, but I am fine with you working on it now live. We can always just switch it back to 4.2.6 if we need to.

    EDIT / CORRECTION: This problem DOES appear on staging site if you are on a different browser or in incognito mode.

    Hi Mike, for what it’s worth, the problem does not appear on my staging site… only on my production site. I thought it might have something to do with object caching ? or cookie handling ? … the latter since the problem does not occur when the”logged in” cookie is set.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Hi,

    @SAdesignsUnltd
    I disabled JetPack and your listing is now showing, I left v4.3 on for you to check.
    I used the first v4.3 in your themes, as you have two there, I don’t know if it makes a difference.
    So with this test and the report I found earlier about a different theme, I would say that it’s a JetPack bug with the “WrappedWebSocket” API.

    @goldengate415
    so you are also using “Optima Express IDX Plugin” but the error doesn’t occur on your staging site, logged in or out? If I recall correctly, caching is disabled on WP Engine staging sites, Object Caching might be key to your issue.
    Have you tried disabling it?

    Object Caching can be enabled or disabled as needed, from your User Portal under the Utilities page from the Overview for each environment.

    Are you using JetPack too?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #948686

    Hi Mike,

    – Object caching is disabled. Problem still occurs.
    – Jetpack is installed. Problem occurs even if it’s disabled.
    – Winner winner chicken dinner… problem DOES occur on staging site! Woo that’s good news, so we can fix it on staging site. I forgot to use a “non logged in browser” when i was checking it.
    – Posting credentials to staging site in private content just in case you want to nose around there. Jetpack is deactivated there.
    – Feel free to do anything you want in staging site… I can always push fresh copy from production.
    – Let me know if you want SFTP credentials.

    Thanks!!
    Rob

    Hi Mike, I just went to the website and checked it out. When logged out of the website, I still get the 404 error. And it looks like when logged in it has all the elements disabled. Not sure if you are still working on it. But I don’t think it’s still working.

    #948697

    Hi,

    @SAdesignsUnltd

    Your right logged out the issues is still there, I will look some more.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #948698

    Mike, also, I turned on load everything in performance for enfold. for some reason when you have load what is needed, it wasn’t loading any of them. so the images, icons, none of the stuff was loading.

    #948700

    Yes based on repeated threads in the forum and my own experience with 4.3, loading only the used items is a recipe for disaster. At one point on the front end it wasn’t displaying the spaces and instead was displaying a message telling me that element wasn’t enabled… until I enabled all items.
    I can work around that bug, and work around the video bug, but can’t work around the iHomefinder 404 bug unfortunately.

    #948703

    Hi,

    @SAdesignsUnltd

    I put your site back to v4.2.6 and turned the plugins back on. Please check.
    I’m going to have to research this some more, but sometimes it helps to take a little brake from it too. :)

    But perhaps you know if the plugin has a setting based on users logged in or out? I notice it keeps poping up a signup page in my tests, but I didn’t see a setting for it. Is this a lead capture feature? Can it be turned off anywhere, for testing, perhaps it would stop checking for logged in or out? (sorry, just trying to think this though)

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #948720

    Thanks Mike, I turned off the prompts for the registration. it’s in the optima express control panel lead capture.

    #948759

    Hi Mike and @goldengate415 have just been doing some research to see if I could find anything. I came across this article for wp engine from the ihomefinder site. I think this could be the cause of the problem. Either with the new EU Cookies thing that is built in or

    https://help.ihomefinder.com/customer/portal/articles/2772633-optima-express—trial-checklist?b_id=15844

    #948787

    Interesting. Hoping that will help the mods, especially the part about PHP sessions.

    This problem occurs on WP Engine in staging site as we discovered today, and the staging side is NOT cached so I no longer think it’s a WP Engine caching issue. Something about cookies / PHP sessions have changed with this new Enfold version and that’s not “playing well” with Optima Express.

    I’m sure the team will figure it out for us!

    #948789

    PS Does that iHomefinder site look familiar? It’s because they used ENFOLD to create their site… which, incidentally, is the main reason I went with Enfold in the first place was I figured if they used it for their own site, it would be 100% compatible with Optima Express.

    :)

    #949304

    @Mike, were you able to work on this some more? This is a critical issue that is going to affect all Enfold real estate sites that use Optima Express, which has 100,000 users at this point across all themes. I would hope that if the mods can’t tackle this that Kriesi would look at it. I am happy to make staging site / SFTP / whatever you need available to fix it.

    Thanks
    Rob

    #949323

    Hi,
    Sorry I didn’t make any head way on this, but I asked the rest of the team to help with this, hopefully it’s just a matter of getting some fresh eyes on it.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #949334

    Thanks Mike. I went into Optima Express plugin on the staging site and un-registered the plugin then registered as a demo plugin so we can test / work on it there without it messing up the Optima Express on the production site. In short, feel free to do anything you want to on the staging site.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    #950512

    Good news – Yigit discovered that today’s Enfold update fixes the 404 errors on Optima Express… so original poster, you can update to 4.3 to fix the 404s. Please note that there is a new bug with the Masonry Element (clicked photos do not launch lightboxes) and the background video issue still exists. :(

    #950520

    Hi!

    A new version of the theme is available now, 4.3.1. It has the “video” and “404” fixes.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    #950521

    Hi Ismael!

    The video bug is still there… (see link in private content) on 4.3.1 and now there is a new bug in Masonry Element (see separate thread I and many others started).

    But yes the 404 bug is fixed, which is very good news!

    Best,
    Rob

    #950585

    Hey!

    Thanks for the update. This is what happens in your installation.

    // https://imgur.com/a/gqgLKe2

    The video is being canceled on load. If we add the “preload” and “autoplay” attribute to the “video” tag manually, video buffering starts automatically. We provided a modification previously where we added these specific attributes to the video tag.

    // https://kriesi.at/support/topic/video-autoplay-4/#post-947097

    I’m not sure why it didn’t work for the users who tested it.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Confirmed on my end. Working great now I believe with optima express plugin. Thank you
