January 17, 2020 at 2:04 pm #1175414Hello Yigit
I just redid the token and it still does not work
I made sure to only tick the boxes you guys mention in the documentationJanuary 17, 2020 at 2:05 pm #1175415This is the settings:
token for enfold updates
This token has access to:View and search Envato sites
View your Envato Account username
View your email address
View your account profile details
Download your purchased items
Verify purchases of your items
List purchases you’ve madeJanuary 17, 2020 at 2:43 pm #1175446I have 4 different Enfold purchases, One for each for our websites (the oldest is from 2014).
Is there anything I have to do in order to register them?January 17, 2020 at 2:59 pm #1175458Hi,
Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to whitelist api.envato.com. They might be blocking it for security reasons.
Another user who was having the same issue contacted their hosting provider and replied:
our hoster has updated the Linux distribution of the server. The cause of the problem was probably the incompatibilities of the versions of OpenSSL with cURL. Now the token API works :-)
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 17, 2020 at 4:57 pm #1175525Hello Yigit
Our host has updated their Linux server, but it still does not work….
Is the whitelist action something I can do from the c-panel?
My hosting service does not understand what the problem could be…
He also does not understand what kind of action is required by envato…January 17, 2020 at 5:04 pm #1175531could it be missing any permissions?
I am not sure why it says:
Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)Do I have to take any action to link my purchase with the token? (apart from the two ticks in the verification process)
January 17, 2020 at 5:06 pm #1175534Hey,
Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can check with our own personal token?
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 17, 2020 at 5:13 pm #1175536Hi Yigit
I realize that I changed the email address of my envato account this morning. I also changed the password. But I have now revoked the email address back to the one we used when we purchased the theme….I created a new token, but it still does not work.January 17, 2020 at 5:29 pm #1175541January 17, 2020 at 5:31 pm #1175542I am also having problems updating the last version of wp and my plugins but I thought it could have something to do with the old theme I am using on this site
January 17, 2020 at 5:47 pm #1175545they will try reboot the server now so the server may be down for 5

Zp1F&M1*u0nVXQHcKd2*H4!GJanuary 20, 2020 at 1:34 pm #1176287Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The token is missing from the Envato private token field when we checked the site. It is currently set to Enfold instead of the private token. Please post the Envato token in the private field so that we can test it properly. Also, try to delete the database transients to remove the update cache.

Don’t forget to create a restore point or a site backup before using the plugin.

IsmaelJanuary 20, 2020 at 1:49 pm #1176290Hello Ismale
I did not realize that you had to paste in the key there, not the name of the token. Now it works (after hours and hours of trying)
Honestly it is not very clear (for non developers like me) that it is the KEY, not the NAME of the token which goes into the update box….January 20, 2020 at 8:56 pm #1176433Hi metafora29,
