Hi,
we have about 20 enfold instalations for different projects, every installation with an own single enfold license. Now regarding the new personal Token:
– Do we have to create a unique personal Token for every enfold license/installation (for every project) -> Like it was with API keys?
– Or do we use one personal Token (a Token named “Enfold”) for every license / project that is using enfold?November 9, 2018 at 10:10 pm #1031856Hey ArturBala,
You need to have different tokens for all licenses.

VictoriaDecember 7, 2018 at 2:08 pm #1042037Hello we got a personal Token for updating the Enfold Theme to 4.5.1
Where do we have to set the token?December 11, 2018 at 4:55 pm #1043851Hi JBley,
https://cl.ly/debaf02b490e You need to put the token in the theme options on the theme update tab.

I have 30 licenses. If the keys are license specific how can I easily matched them to the appropriate license?
Also, In some cases I have purchased multiple licenses at a time but used one zip file to install on multiple sites. Will this cause a problem and if so, how do I fix it?
On a similar note, Of the 30 licenses I only have about 24 or 25 actually installed. What steps should i take to get all of this in order?
Please don’t tell me I have to generate the key for each and then manually add them until I find the ones that correspond. That will take a lifetime that I just don’t have to spare.
Thank you!

December 23, 2018 at 5:15 am #1048741Hi MichaelAlbany,
As far as I know you have to generate a different token for each site, they don’t have to correspond to a certain license though. Just adding an individual token to each site should be enough.
If you have licenses which are not used then you can use them for future sites I guess?

I’m getting an error when I try to add the new key. The error is here; http://michaelalbany.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Error.jpg
Login provided in private details.Just so you are aware, I just moved the sites to GoDaddy managed WordPress. I will be moving them to cpanel later this week. No other plugins are active and the ssl is temporarily disabled until the final move.
When I mentioned this error to Envato they said its your issue not theirs. It’s their API but they say to talk to you. ugh.
In reguard to the additional licenses, they are due to clients switching to other developers, going out of buisiness, etc. I will re-use those licenses on new projects, one being a new venture of my own. I just need to figure out which licenses continue to carry support and which need to have it added.

December 29, 2018 at 2:31 pm #1049173Hi,
The personal token error can be due to improper permission. Please check the below link and re-create the token with proper permission.
Please make sure to delete the old key before creating the new one.

VinayJuly 22, 2019 at 7:13 pm #1120983I bought Enfold for a customer website. For this project I have generate a envato personal token with the following (probably minimal?) permissions:
– View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
– View your Envato account username
– View your email address
– Download your purchased items
– Verify purchases of your item
– List purchases you’ve madeAll works fine, but I’m wondering if there is a possibility that the customer misuses that code if he copies it from the WP admin area and uses it for other purposes or can it only be used by one website/theme at a time?
What are the minimal permissions needed to allow the automatic updates of the theme?July 23, 2019 at 8:38 am #1121111Hi trconnected,
One token can only be used for one site, so I don’t think you need to worry. Check here to see which settings you need: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-5

RikardJanuary 28, 2020 at 5:25 am #1178863Hi Rikard,
It is possible to use one token for many sites — we’ve been doing it on dozens of sites since the new token system was implemented. So if we have the appropriate number of licenses, and one token is working for all of our sites, is there a reason we should switch to individual tokens?
Thanks.
