Hello,
So I have a youtube embed at the bottom of this page http://heaven11audio.com/contact-us/
Looking at my site in Osx:
On Safari, I see the preview image,
On Chrome there is no preview image,
On Firefox I don’t see any video or link to the video (?)
What can I do to remedy this situation & have em all appear as they do in Safari?
Cheers,

NikkoNovember 7, 2016 at 5:43 pm #709381Hi,
I have a similar question and now I have tried for more than one hour even to be able to make a support topic to get help! Please send a direct link or explanation how to create a topic here so I can get help. Why do you not provide a “Create topic” link anywhere?November 7, 2016 at 6:35 pm #709419November 8, 2016 at 9:56 am #709670Hi,
Thanks but it does not work. I tried this 25-30 times and only one time I got this blue message: “can’t find a solution…” and when I had filled out the form and clicked submit, the site broke down and all was wasted and nothing sent.
Could you please look into if there is a problem with this or tell me more detailed how to get this blue notification link because I certainly do not get it at home/forums/enfold, not even when I fill out a topic in search.November 8, 2016 at 7:50 pm #709942Ok, back to OP question: Nikko, I’d love to hear your comments. Is there a way to script a preview image or something?

November 10, 2016 at 7:07 am #710550Hi,
Sorry I missed this thread, I have already looked into it and I can’t find any problem within the Video of Advance Layout Builder. If I try to check the video link (in the private content), that’s directly in youtube and you can see the problem. Can you try to use the embed code instead and put it in text block, this might help solve the problem.
Best regards,
NikkoNovember 10, 2016 at 10:34 pm #710921Helllo,
I don’t understand what you mean. I’ve tried putting the link in a text and code block. In both instances I just see the code as is and not a box with the linked video.
Am I missing something?
November 11, 2016 at 11:48 am #711077Hi,
Yes, what I want you to add to the text block is not the youtube link but the embed code, when you open the youtube video, there’s a Share link at the bottom you just click it and then there’s the Embed tab, it should give you an embed code which should look like this:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4xgx4k83zzc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Best regards,
NikkoNovember 18, 2016 at 4:03 am #713799Yes, that works! now is there a way to make the video stretch to 100% width? (like the enfold video container)

November 20, 2016 at 5:06 pm #714546Hi,
Try to change the embed code to this:
<div class="avia-video avia-video-16-9 "> <div class="avia-iframe-wrap"><iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4xgx4k83zzc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div> </div>
You will notice the difference is the embed code is wrapped with some
<div> and also I have replaed the width to 1280 and height to 720. Hope this helps :)Best regards,
NikkoNovember 22, 2016 at 5:56 pm #715472<div class="avia-video avia-video-16-9 "> <div class="avia-iframe-wrap"><iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4xgx4k83zzc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div> </div>
This does not work unfortunately. It gives me the blank preview like in the enfold container.

All videos that uses Youtube is BLANK :-( With or without “REL” – Iframe or RAW or Inside ShortcodesNovember 25, 2016 at 6:26 am #716662Hi,
It’s a “mixed content” issue. Please adjust the youtube url and replace “http” with “https”.
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 26, 2016 at 3:02 pm #717220Hi Ismael.
You are totally right!!! Thanks
Actually the errors is NOT Enfold’s – The error comes from the plugin “Shortcodes Ultimate” that redirect to http:// and not https
The author has abandon the development :-( So I took the shortcode from Enfold[av_video src='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUIviyOIpus' format='16-9' width='16' height='9']
and used inside my AccordionsThanks for another well ended support ticket you guys are fantastic!

December 23, 2016 at 8:09 pm #728035Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
Best regards,
AndyDecember 24, 2016 at 12:06 am #728077Hi Andy,
I deactivated the plugin, did some hard refreshes: nothing has changed on Chrome OSX. \
I tried it on Firefox OSX: no image or link, I can’t see the video.
On safari: it works as it should. So what should I try next?
cheers,
December 24, 2016 at 11:22 am #728118Hi,
simply deactivating your caching plugin is not sufficient. Please follow the instructions correctly and first switch off your caching function inside your cache plugin, before deactivating the whole plugin. Otherwise caching will go on.

AndyJanuary 9, 2017 at 9:37 pm #731292Hello,
I have deleted all the cached pages, deactivated & even deleted the WP super cache plugin, did a series of hard refreshes, but still no view preview in Chrome….
What now?

January 10, 2017 at 6:03 pm #731651Hi,
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
Best regards,
AndyJanuary 11, 2017 at 4:39 pm #732124I have installed a fresh copy of Enfold, overwriting all the old files.
The result is the same: In OSX, still no preview image in Chrome and no video at all in Firefox (!). In Safari it works (it always worked in Safari).
Any ideas? are you seeing it on your end?
January 14, 2017 at 10:23 am #733502Hi,
you’re using link in private content inside your video element. If you open this link directly in Chrome, then you will see the same thing happening. So it’s not about Enfold, but about Chrome browser. Compare this link with Safari and you’ll see the difference. So what you can do is to use a different link instead of the “embed” one. Try the default link inside private content.

AndyJanuary 16, 2017 at 6:35 pm #734282Hello Andy,
Changed to the default YouTube link as instructed, did some hard refreshes and still no video preview…
So I decided to do a test using the default YouTube embed code and the preview image DOES appear:
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/4xgx4k83zzc” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>Unfortunately its not dynamic. But I would guess that the problem might be Enfold if it works without the Enfold ‘wrapper’. Would you agree?

January 17, 2017 at 7:29 pm #734938Hi,
when I use a youtube link like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xgx4k83zzc on my Enfold installation then it’s working as expected. However, please post us your login details inside private content field (not a screenshot please!).
Best regards,
AndyJanuary 17, 2017 at 8:56 pm #734966Hey Andy,
Boy, this is tougher than expected. Thanks for persevering!
See login in private content.
