on page in Enfold we need to add some specific products – mostly by brand, or also by just some category from a brand (say HV series by T+A)
So far the only way is to add product brand as product category and this can then be choosen in Product Slider plugin >content as category and it works, but this way has a big trouble, because this category is everywhere listed in category menu, widget Etc… When we are talking about Brand name , yes it is duplicity with brands in shop but still ok, but when you will just list on page some other group of products (for example all special offer, black friday, special offer by brand and many others) you get all those listed in product categories visible … Is there any chance to either create (or sign ) category which will be usable but not visible in product category menus ? Or if the Product slider or simmilar add-on to Enfold page can use also different list with product taxonomy which will not be used in menus ? Or have a chance to select which product category shall be listed in menus ? See shop nmain window :

Have you tried adding those info as product attributes?

With this, it will be possible to use the default sorting widgets from the plugin that can sort products based on the attached attributes, and this will also allow you to create variable products.

thank you for replay, yes we have tried all possible taxonomies, but in case of Product Slider, product grid Etc (so called Plugin Additions in Avia Layout Builder) you have the only choice – CATEGORIES. So non of Tags, Brands, Attributes can not be used for sorting. This is the case. For example when we have page with say HIFI product by Brand Manley and the category is amplifier I need to create special category for it because the Product slider gives me just one choice… Because if you create category Manley, -Subcategory Manley HIFI,–Subcategory amplifiers and choose them all in Product Slider, you will get all Manley brand products listed ! So you need to create Manley HIFI amplifiers category and add it to all relevant products and then it works …Hi,
Yes, you are right. Unfortunately, only product categories can be selected in the Product Grid or the Product Slider elements, so you may need to find another solution. Unfortunately, we could not think of any plugin that has the functionality that you need, and aside from using the product attributes to sort the products, there seems to be no other solution to what you are after.
