Years ago we converted from an old ASP website to WordPress using the Enfold theme and Woocommerce. We have many products but we’re running into issues with the theme because the product images we’re using are low resolution and redoing them all is not an option at this time. With that being said here is an example product:
Sample Product – https://www.royalpillow.com/product/durasoff-body-pillow/
Using the following image – https://www.royalpillow.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/DURASOFF-BODY-PILLOW-DSC_0163_DxO.jpgMy question is how can we eliminate all resizing of the product images so the product page only shows the actual size of the original image? Please advise, thank you.

April 20, 2018 at 3:51 am #944396Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
The single product page uses the “shop_single” thumbnail version of the image by default. This thumbnail has a maximum width and height of 450px depends on the current value set in the Woocommerce settings. Use this plugin to adjust the size of the product images (shop_single, shop_catalog, shop_thumbnail) and regenerate the thumbnails.

IMPORTANT: Create a backup or a restore point first.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 20, 2018 at 4:26 pm #944619So are you saying there is no way to use different sizes for single product images? Some images may be different heights so setting a global size may produce undesired results.
April 20, 2018 at 9:26 pm #944764I tried your suggestion. Installed the plugin you mentioned, changed the shop_single size to the exact size of the image in question and it made no changes. Please escalate. All of my product images are being zoomed and cropped and I need to prevent this from happening so Woocommerce and your theme simply allow the product image to the the image uploaded from the product backend (ie 300px x 152px) Please advise .
April 23, 2018 at 7:29 pm #945497Hi,
When you change the images sizes, you also need to Regenerate Thumbnails / Images.
Please do that and it should be fine after.Best regards,
BasilisApril 24, 2018 at 3:33 pm #945970I changed the image sizes twice and also regenerated the thumbnails twice. I’ve created the following screenshots to hopefully help you understand what i’m trying to accomplish.
This is the current view when you view the product mentioned above – https://www.royalpillow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/current-state.jpg
This is the desired end result – https://www.royalpillow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/desired-result.jpg
These are my settings for the plugin you recommended above – https://www.royalpillow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/plugin-settings.jpg (notice how i tried for grins to force each image option to the desired result dimensions)
Here is proof I regenerated plugins – https://www.royalpillow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/regenerate-thumbnail.jpgYet notice how the product image changed in no way shape or form. Please help… Thanks.
April 26, 2018 at 4:55 am #947063Hi,
What is the original size of the product image? Please go back to the Settings > Media panel and then disable or uncheck the “Crop” parameter of the shop images. Again, you have to regenerate the images afterwards.
Or provide the original image and the login credentials in the private field so that we can test it.
Best regards,
