    Is there anyway to do a video lightbox with the enfold theme?
    I need to link a thumbnail to the lightbox video and I’ve attempted to do this using a plugin but the shortcode didn’t work within the custom URL.
    Is there something I’m missing in order to accomplish this?

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Yes, it is possible. Please remove the plugin then use the Image element. Add the url of the video. This will automatically open the video on a lightbox.

}

    Hi!

    It could work, depending on how you are adding the image, i’d suggest adding it to a wrapping container, like:

    <div class='no-overlay'><img src='_img_url_'></div>

    And then the CSS:

    .no-overlay .image-overlay{
display: none !important;
}

    Hey!

    @amirhossein, video lightbox activation will only occur on YouTube and Vimeo links, you’re linking a mp4 file directly, however, there’s a way to lightbox that, try changing your link to:

    @evoplus    , links on your page are opening as lightbox on my end.

    Hi it might be a browser thing. On Firefox I see the lightbox ( maybeamirhossein’s autoplay will work too). But whe i use Chrome, it does not work it reloads the page. However when i look at the Enfold Demo on Chrome, I do not have that problem. Therefore, there must be something that the Demo has that our installations do not to make it work on chrome properly.

    you are right! I tried on a different MAC. It is the same Model and hooked up to the same internet network as mine. Is this some cashing problem?

    Could be, try doing a hard refresh.

    Also disable all extensions on your browser.

    I FIGURED IT OUT :)

    On Chrome I was logged in as an Admin. On Firefox I was not logged in at all. So I did the opposite and I saw lightbox on Chrome and a page load on Firefox.

    So , I guess that you do not see the lightbox when you are an admin. Which is fine.

    I created a Subscriber, Editor and Author account and logged in and I can see the Lightbox. So I think it is only when you are logged as Admin that you do not see it.

    Is it still possible to have a video open in a lightbox? I tried what was suggested in the 2nd post – ‘use the Image element. Add the url of the video. This will automatically open the video on a lightbox.’ But there is no option to add a url anywhere in the Image element.

    Is there a solution to this?

    Hello, Lightbox link works just fine in desktop/laptop browsers. On iPad, I get an error as follows:
    Adding exact error message in private content. Basically the addition of “?iframe=true” does not appear to work on iPad. Any assistance you can provide would be helpful.
