    Ever since Enfold 4.8.6.5, any Enfold updates break the site, specifically the entire footer disappears. Updates are on hold, which is not ideal. Please advise.

    Hey,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You have modified header.php file on your child theme. Could you please copy a fresh copy of header.php file, re-apply your modification on the file and then replace it on your child theme? That should fix the issue :)

    I replaced the header.php file in the Enfold child folder with a copy from the main Enfold folder. Then I updated Enfold. The website footer is still missing.

    I updated Enfold to 4.9 from 4.8.6.2, now the footer is missing. I then updated Quiz and Survey Master 7.3.10 to 7.3.12 and Yoast SEO 18.1 to 18.2 plugins to ensure they weren’t interfering. And cleared site caching. And tested in private browser. Footer is still missing.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the login, you have a very old header.php file in your child theme, please remove this file and check.
    If your footer returns then add a copy of the header.php file from the parent theme v4.9 and add your modifications to it and check again.
    But first test without the child theme header.php to ensure this works.
