    Dear Support Team,
    some years ago my website was created with Enfold Theme Version 4.4.1.

    – is it possible to update to the newest version?
    – at import / export menue the actually setup could be saved to an .xml file. If I do the update, is it possible to import the .xml file so that all settings are back again?

    At your website I have found how to install the enfold over ftp. But I could not find what’s to do to be shure that all settings back again after update.

    I tried to register with my Themeforest API Key, but it is not possible with that key.

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You can login on ThemeForest with the account you used to purchase the theme and go to Downloads page to download the latest version of the theme and update it – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/. Your theme options will not be changed during the update.

    After updating the theme, you can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options. Envato has updated their API and we have implemented those changes in Enfold 4.5 so any Enfold version older than that requires a manual update first :)
