    Hi,

I’ve been trying to update Enfold (after setting up new API link) and I keep getting the same error that “Update package not available”. I’ve made sure all other plugins are updated, but is there something else I need to do?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hey SPSUK,

Please have a full website backup ready and share the FTP credentials.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Thank you, it actually looks as though it has updated on its own! – *CORRECTION* I can see it says a previous update but there is still another one available.

I do have a question around WooCommerce and being able to list/filter my shop overview by product type (or the user having this option to be able to filter). Is this now possible without having to hard code this in?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the details. The WordPress details don’t seem to work though, could you please check and verify?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. The FTP details you posted worked, it’s the WordPress details which are not working. Please check those and post again.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
Unfortunately, your version of Enfold will require a manual FTP update, the easiest and safest way to do this is to download the newest version from Theme Forest and rename your current theme folder to “enfold-old” via ftp then upload the new “enfold” folder and check that your site is working correctly.
Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” folder to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.
Once you are happy you can delete the “enfold-old” folder via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.

    Best regards,
    Mike
