Dear people,
I have taken over a customer who uses the Enfold theme.
I have used it’s editor a while ago to change customers website.
But yesterday it does not work anymore. In fact an error occurs when I want to edit.After updating the enfold theme from 4.8.6.2 to the version 4.8.7 a got the ZIPfile from results in an error from the whole website!
Can i purchase the newest version 5.x and repair the website so that I can edit the existing pages again?

Your website does not load on my end so I am not able to inspect it but I am pretty sure updating the theme to the latest version would fix the issue.

Thanks for the update. Did you register your theme license, and did you make sure that the token has the correct permissions? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. If the updates should not come through via the theme backend, then you can try to install and configure this plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

As an extra I upgraded the PHP version from 8.0.23 to 8.1.10
I installed the market plugin, but still I got the same error message:

RikardI contacted the owner of JKU5812, but he uses his token for more clients.
So to get rid of this hassle I want to buy my own licence or token for this client but
-I think this system with a token in a shop connects with Theme is very unclear to me
-I think it may cause the same problems in the future

– If you need further clarification on what the token actually does, then please reach out to Envato/Themeforest support, as they are the owners of the code.
– Why would it create the same problem in the future?
