    Hello, I have a website with Enfold 2.2 version (builded in 2013) and I would update the theme to the last version 4.7. Is it possibile? How should i do? The support of the theme was expired, should I buy the theme again?

    Hi Elisa,

    Thanks for contacting us!
    You don’t need to buy the theme again to get the updated version of theme, you just need to login to themeforest using the account you used to purchase Enfold and download the theme from there.
    Also, you just need to purchase the support extension for Enfold in themeforest, so you can access and create thread in our forum.
    It’s not possible to do automatic updates from Enfold 2.2 to 4.7.5 because envato has changed from using API key (used in 2.2) to using tokens (4.7.5)
    You’ll most likely need to do the following to update it:

    • Backup your site, put it in maintenance mode using a third-party plugin
    • Switch to a default wordpress theme, like twenty-twenty
    • Download the latest Enfold theme from themeforest then unzip the file
    • In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Themes then upload enfold.zip (should be inside the generated folder when you unzip the file downloaded from themeforest
    • Install and Activate Enfold (or the child theme if you’re using one) and remove the maintenance mode
