After updating to 5.2, Captions disappeared from my Masonry galleries. Am I the only one noticing this? I couldn’t find any other message in the forum about that.

Thanks for contacting us!
I switched to parent theme temporarily and captions showed up so I believe the issue is related to modifications you made on your child theme. Could you please update header.php and /js/avia.js files on your child theme and check if that helps? :)

How to update these two files? It’s enough to go in the Appearance/Theme File editor and click on UPDATE FILE on both (see the attached screenshot)?
I did it, and it did not fix the issue…Maybe you mean that I have to copy the two files from the parent folder and overwrite the child folder, working on the FTP?

Yes, that is what I meant. Please simply copy fresh files from parent theme, apply your modifications on those files and replace them on your child theme :)
