    Hi there
    Every site I’ve tried to update has timed out.

    error 504 on his website
    60 seconds reached
    Back end pages won’t load/unresponsive on one site. (Newsite-WP) still with 4.0.5
    Tried disabling plugins etc./
    Only thing I could do was to reinstall previous version of Enfold to get sites back up.
    Two different servers/hosting companies
    Link Details re: 3 sites

    Any help would be appreciated.

    If you’re using a Child Theme, delete Enfold via FTP and upload a fresh copy of the latest version.

    Well that worked on the two I’ve done.
    Never would have occurred to me, thought over writing would work ok.

    Many thanks for all your help here, I wasted a lot of time.

    Hello,

    I am trying to upgrade to 4.4.1 but after i copied the enfold folder by ftp i get error 500 and cant get to my website.
    tried also upgrade from word-press still not working

    Hi,
    Please note that if you update via FTP, you will need to remove the old theme folder first then upload the new enfold folder.
    Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind.
    Also ensure that your PHP version is at minimum v5.6
