Hi guys
In the Child Theme Options > Advanced Styling > Main Menu Links, I have set a custom grey Font Color plus a custom Font Size.
That worked, however now there is no Hover or Active state color on the top menu. How do I set those elements up?
Thanks

You can set the hover state in Advanced Styling by check the Apply only to mouse hover state checkbox, could you try that please?

I’ve done that and that functionality started working correctly except for 2 things:
1. The default menu link font size has decreased
2. The default menu link font color has changed to a lighter colorThe hover state font size/color is correct though.
How do I fix the default states?
ThanksMay 18, 2016 at 4:05 pm #634590Hi,
you can adjust this in Enfold->Advanced Styling->Main Menu Links

I’ve created another MAIN MENU LINKS component by clicking Edit Element > Main Menu Links.
I’ve set the font size to 14 (same as the other Main Menu Links for the hover state). That fixed the default size issue being different from the Hover state..
But when changing the Font Color as well (to make the default color darker), it then cancels out the active color state?

then activate the field “Apply only to mouse hover state”.

The first MAIN MENU LINKS option I’ve set up (custom color + custom size) already has the Apply to hover state ticked.
Ticking the same for the 2nd option set up just bounces the menu around on hover.
Based on what you see working now (which is almost what I want), how do I change the default light grey color of the menu links without the above issues happening again?
Should I give you WP admin access to view?
Thanks

Yes I do. When adjusting the initial state element colour, it over rides the color states. Should I give you WP admin access to view?
May 23, 2016 at 2:45 pm #636803Hi,
yes please. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

Here you go…
May 23, 2016 at 3:09 pm #636826Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.

I’ve done that. So how do I adjust the default light grey menu link colors without over riding the hover and active states?
thanks
May 24, 2016 at 12:22 pm #637398Hi,
just go to Enfold->Advanced Styling and choose Main Menu Link from dropdown menu. Make sure to keep “Apply only to mouse hover state” deactivated.
Best regards,
