When I want to add a link in a TinyMCE text field, I don’t get a field to enter the link but an automatic link is set with
    _wp_link_placeholder

    Hi netzhautflimmern!

Can you please disable your plugins?
You should be able to have that optin as it is the TinyMCE default functionality.

    Thank u

hey… I think you don’t understand the problem maybe.. I did a video.. youf find the download link below..
I even updated wordpress and the theme but the problem persists.. I would habe to insert the link manually in the html field instead of being able to use the visual insert function…

    Hi,

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
If that does not help, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi,

I’ve created a test page and it’s working fine. Could you fix it already?

    Best regards,
    Andy

yes, I know that setting a link works fine. This is not the problem I’m talking about. Can you please check the video.
The problem is in the backend editor, when I am setting a link, I don’t get the field to enter a URL (the first time in a session it gives the field, but after that not, and if you click on the “link options” field in order to set target blank, it is not showing anything) Can you please check the video I sent in order to understand the problem please!
In an old version of your theme, this problems does not occur, so I guess it has to do with a newer version…

    danke.

    Hey!
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
