Hi, I tried to find a solution for this, but was unable to. I have used the Google Maps element on our website, but since recently it only loads with a message “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.” and the console is giving some RetiredVersion errors. Can you help?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

Do you have a credit card on the domains?

How is this helping me? This is just the link to the documentation of the error code that your maps implementation is throwing.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Could you please provide a screenshot of the http referrers field? Remove the rest of the http referrers and try the suggested referrer format above. This is the error that we get when we try to authenticate the key in the EN version.

Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

I am having the same issue. I updated my Google Map Javascript API, added a billing account with a credit card. I even renewed the API Key, removed all the restricted applications http and only have the https://*.advancedortho.org/* and I am still getting the box over my map that says “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.” https://advancedortho.org/about-us/our-locations/parker-location/

I have contacted Google about this, asking them how long it takes to implement the billing account. Haven’t heard back yet, no surprise. Just wondering if there is anything else you think I need to do.

    Hi,

    Please try following:

    1) Go to the API list https://console.developers.google.com/google/maps-apis/api-list and make sure all apis are activated/used.

    2) Try to add these domains to your restriction list:

    https://*.advancedortho.org/*
    https://advancedortho.org/*
    http://*.advancedortho.org/*
    http://advancedortho.org/*

    Best regards,
    Dude

Here’s the screenshot of the cloud console with the referers. The billing runs over the same account as the rest of our GCloud Services, so that is definitely not an issue.

    Hi tmjake,

The map seems to be loading fine now, please check.

Hi Victoria, I do not know what to do about that. The URLs are set correctly in the Google Cloud console; I’ve had our CTO look at it. Any ideas?

    Hi,

Are your billing details added and correct on your google console?

I fixed it. The solution was to also enable

    Maps Static API
    Maps JavaScript API

as available APIs for the token, additionally to the Embed API.
